The month of May opened with a special called meeting by the Northumberland County School Board. The agenda included a closed session and an open session action item for “request transfer of funds”. Action items included extending supplemental contracts for three finance employees, accepting the retirement of Finance Director Tara Booth, and a motion to recommend and commend Dr. Karen Leslie for her leadership, guidance, and dedication.
